ABSTRACT
The article reports on developments regarding horse racing in the United States. It has been a good year for the New York Racing Association because a total of 5,588,770 paying guests had wagered $531,528,201, for the long season of 1960. This has established a new record for both betting and attendance. Meanwhile, the association predicts business to improve by at least 10 percent in 1961.
