ABSTRACT
The article presents information on Alex Haberstroh, a pioneer of low-budget space films for TV in the U.S. He started making space films back in 1951. He has one full-time assistant and any number of architect, sculptor, and artist friends who pitch in on a part-time basis. His studio's financial resources come from inserts for TV commercials and news broadcasts, any sort of promotion involving outer space, and educational films.
