ABSTRACT
The article relates the experiences of a woman whose phone number was mistaken for the Dial-A-Prayer service in the United States. She has been receiving unnerving telephone calls in which only expectant breathing greeted her hello. She claims that in one incident when her phone rang again, she got the same salutation, she finally screamed and demanded to know what the person on the other line wanted. The caller responded by asking if the number is Dial-A-Prayer.
