The article criticizes New York Giants and Chicago Cubs baseball teams Manager Lou Boudreau for removing Anderson at the start of the Giants seventh even though Anderson had a 2-1 lead and had allowed only four hits, and at the start of the San Francisco seventh even though Anderson already had a 2-1 lead.
