ABSTRACT
The article describes a lunch with author P. G. Wodehouse in his home in Remsenburg, on the South Shore of Long Island, New York. Wodehouse will be celebrating his eightieth birthday on October 15, 1960. Wodehouse's wife warned the author and his companions that there will be many fallen trees because of Hurricane Donna. The author explained that he and his wife have become U.S. citizens and that it was like being admitted to a good club.
