ABSTRACT
The article presents an anecdote of a young Episcopal minister who entered the Palm Court of the Hotel Plaza in New York City. The man was wearing a sports jacket and an ascot. The head-waiter of the hotel advised him that he cannot avail service unless he wears a necktie. So the young man went to his room and puts on his collar then service was provided.
