ABSTRACT
The article profiles Anne Hone Rogers, a professional dog handler. Anne Hone Rogers is known as "Anie" throughout the world of dog show. She was the first woman professional handler to win the Best in Show at Westminster in 1956. With her various contributions to the sport as a breeder, handler, judge and mentor, Rogers was given a license from the American Kennel Club to judge, as well as to charge a fee for leading a dog into the ring at any show organized by the Club.
