ABSTRACT
A list of technical achievements of the National Film Board of Canada from 1947 to 1987 is presented. In 1974, the Board has produced the world's first additive light film printing machine. In 1949, the Board has developed the first Canadian optical effects printer. In 1975, the Board has created single frame video recording for animation.
