The article reports on the decision of the Administrative council of the European Broadcasting Union (EBU) to recommend that the Technical Centre, which has been located in Brussels, Belgium since 1950 should be moved to Geneva, Switzerland. The decision follows discussions over a number of years with the Belgian Government at the very highest levels regarding the major problem the EBU has been facing in Belgium of recruiting foreign staff.
