ABSTRACT
The article informs that Southlake, Texas-based travel firm Travelocity offers a program called Go Zero to its customers which gives them a chance to offset the carbon emissions generated by their flight, car usage, etc. The program allows customers to purchase "carbon offsets" through a donation to The Conservation Fund which then plants trees that absorb carbon dioxide. Larry Selzer, president of The Conservation Fund, says that Travelocity's initiative is appreciable as it helps to regenerate forests and wetlands and also helps address climate change.
