ABSTRACT
The article presents an anecdote about a bearded man and a black-stockinged girl wandered into a Mark Cross and asked for a wineskin. The salesman on deck said that Mark Cross was out of wineskin and recommended that they try a Mexican importing outfit down the village. The bearded man made a statement to the salesman and the couple walked away.
