ABSTRACT
The article describes the author's experience in Greenwich Village, New York City. He describes his encounter with Chinese-American artist Dong Kingman, who was drawing some impressions for what will eventually be a water color of Washington Square. He presents the conversation between Kingman and Kuo Chi-chih, an artist and owner of Chinese restaurant Lichee Tree, about their works and accomplishments.
