ABSTRACT
The article discusses issues concerning the plan of suppliers to increase the price of methanol for the fourth-quarter of 2006. Suppliers plan to implement a €150 per tonne increase. During the European Petrochemical Association meeting in Monte Carlo, Monaco, buyers were countering the €400 per tonne offer with proposals of between €350-380 per tonne.
