ABSTRACT
The article reports on the decision of Dow Agrosciences to supply DuPont Crop Protection with acetochlor and acetochlor plus atrazine premix herbicides for pre-emergence use in corn. DuPont plans to offer acetochlor products for field use in 2007 under the brand name Breakfree. Acetochlor is a soil-applied corn herbicide used to control grasses and broadleaf weeds.
