ABSTRACT
The article focuses on soft skills and discusses the reasons behind their ignorance by managers in Great Britain. The skills of relationship management and creativity build up soft skills. Managers favor hard skills over soft skills because they believe that hard strategic and analytical skills are required for effective management and leadership. HR managers need to develop soft skills by emphasizing them as core leadership skills.
