ABSTRACT
The article presents information on DC-DC converter from Linear Technology Corp. The converter uses internal switches to deliver efficiencies up to 94%. The product's internal 500mA switches can deliver output voltages as high as 5V from an input voltage range of 0.85V to 4.4V. This becomes suitable for Li-Ion/Polymer or single/multicell alkaline and NiMH applications.
