ABSTRACT
The article reports that Jay Thorpe's Bridal Salon in New York City has a broad array of ready-to-wear wedding dresses. A traditional dress is made of ivory peau de soie with a fitted bodice and cap sleeves. An ivory dress with a short train provides a choice of several fabrics, among them silk organza, peau de soie, and silk-faced rayon satin.
