Merrill Lynch buys Mexico's Convermex

The article reports that Mexican plastic disposable tableware maker Grupo Convermex has been acquired by Merrill Lynch Global Private Equity from Tablewood Holding International. It has been reported by Merrill Lynch that Convermex has five manufacturing plants and 18 distribution centers in Mexico. Retailers, wholesalers and institutional customers throughout Mexico are served by the company.
