ABSTRACT
This article presents several news items related to the rubber industry. Female Health Co.'s FC-2 female condom has been registered by the Indian authorities. Bayer MaterialScience AG's Polyurethanes Business Unit has expanded its methylene diphenyl diisocyanate plant in Krefeld-Uerdingen, Germany. The annual production capacity has been increased by 36,000 metric tons. On September 25, 2006, the Joint Asian Derivatives Exchange started trading of TSR 20 rubber futures.
