ABSTRACT
The article reports on the seminar arranged by Dyestuffs Manufacturers' Association of India (DMAI) concerning the European Registration, Authorization and Evaluation of Chemicals regulation, on August 8, 2006 in Mumbai, India. S. Ganesan, chairman of the International Treaties Expert Committee of Indian Chemical Council, discussed the possible impact of the regulation on the dyestuffs industry. DMAI also presented a memorandum with regards to problems facing the industry.
