ABSTRACT
This article reports on the monitoring of investment manager PIMCO by the Kern County Employees' Retirement Association (KCERA) in California. PIMCO is being monitored because of its underperformance on its StockPlus fund. KCERA hired PIMCO to oversee a mandate worth $129 million. A new asset allocation has been adopted by the fund.
