ABSTRACT
The article reports that private equity giant Carlyle Group said that it has closed its ninth U.S. high yield fund, Carlyle High Yield Partners IX. Structured as a traditional collateralized debt obligation, a minimum of 90 percent of the fund will be used to invest in first-lien bank loans. Ten percent will be put into high-yield bonds and second-lien loans.
