ABSTRACT
The article discusses the importance of having a digital audio workstation (DAW) in sound recording. The visual waveform is one example of the greatest advantages in working with a DAW. In addition, many artists, producers and engineers suffer from waveform overload and become obsessed with the music. The difference between recording to tape and recording to digital with DAW is also emphasized in the article.
