The article presents information on the U.S. Army's Reserve Officer Training Corps (ROTC). The ROTC was first established in 1916. College students who enroll in the ROTC program are preparing themselves to be future leaders of the U.S. military. U.S. Army Cadet Command spokesperson Paul Kotakis said that the ROTC is the only source of the U.S. Army's commissioned officers.
