ABSTRACT
The article offers news briefs in the chemical industry in Europe. Roche is investing €157 million in a research and development (R&D) facility in Basel, Switzerland. The facility of Shell Chemicals Ltd. in Pernis, Netherlands can now produce isopropyl alcohol to Good Manufacturing Practice standard. Fujifilm will expand its imaging colourants R&D centre in Grangemouth, Scotland.
