ABSTRACT
This article reports on a partnership between Honda and the Research Institute of Innovative Technology for the Earth for the development of a technology to produce ethanol from soft-biomass. The collaboration aims to cash in on demand for ethanol as a fuel, but solve the problem of limited supply. Ethanol fuel will be produced from cellulose and hemicellulose.
