ABSTRACT
The article presents news briefs on the supply chain segment of the chemical industry. Aegis Logistics is planning to open chemical and gas terminals in various Indian ports. Leo Baron Delwaide, president of the Port of Antwerp in Belgium, has called for the Netherlands to abide by an international arbitration ruling and open the Iron Rhine rail link, or face court action. Negotiations between Belgium, Netherlands and Germany to reopen the line hit an impasse in 2001.
