ABSTRACT
The article reports that Neochim will start production at its 200,000 tonnes/ year biodiesel plant at Feluy, Belgium, during the second halt of October 2006. The facility will use steam from the waste heat generated by BASF maleic anhydride production on the same site. Neochim has been refining glycerine at Feluy since 1996. It has invested €10m on the biodiesel plant, which will use rapeseed oil as feedstock.
