ABSTRACT
This article describes a source for heart-health information offered by the U.S. government. The U.S.'s National Institute of Health (NIH) SeniorHealth Web site, added a special section aimed at informing older adults about heart attacks. Elizabeth Nabel, MD, director of the National Heart, Lung and Blood Institute, which developed the site's content, says that the more knowledgeable people are about the heart, the better chance we have of reducing or eliminating permanent damage to the heart.
