ABSTRACT
The article projects the increase in the fab capacity of MOS integrated circuits in 2006 according to the market research firm IC Insights Inc. Worldwide fab capacity for MOS integrated circuits is expected to increase this year. However, capacity increases will be relatively moderate and spread out over several years, reflecting greater caution among integrated circuit manufacturers.
