ABSTRACT
The article reports on the acquisition of Chicago, Illinois-based Parallel Lines, a designer, manufacturer and importer of contemporary furniture, by Tag, a manufacturer of accessories, tabletops and gifts. The Parallel Lines brand name is eliminated and is replaced by the Tag brand. According to Norman Glassberg, president of Tag, he aims to strengthen the sales force and marketing efforts to the furniture products, which Parallel Lines has no capabilities.
