The article focuses on the belief of some agronomists that residual herbicide pendimethalin lost some activity against blackgrass. It is said that the belief of the agronomists started when growers were using Lexus + Stomp but has spread also to the pre-emergence herbicide Ice. According to Will Reyer of BASF, enhanced metabolism resistance affects virtually all herbicides and not just pendimethalin.
