ABSTRACT
The article narrates the authors' experience in attending a dinner in celebration of the seventy-fifth anniversary of the incorporation of the New York Entomological Society and its merger with the Brooklyn Entomological Society, held in the Pacific Bird Hall of the American Museum of Natural History. They mention some of the speakers such as doctors and authors Alexander B. Klots and Vincent G. Dethier. They were introduced by Klots to Alice Gray, a scientific assistant in the Department of Entomology of the museum.
