ABSTRACT
The article presents comments on a study by J.P. Casas and colleagues related to the effects of Angiotensin-Converting Enzyme (ACE) inhibitors and angiotensin-receptor blockers (ARB) on blood pressure control. The author suggests that some of the patients included in the study were at low risk of acquiring renal disease. The focus in those patients is on prevention of vascular events and these results were not regarded in this review.
