ABSTRACT
The article presents information on a study related to the Angiotensin-converting enzyme inhibitors in patients with coronary artery disease. The study was conducted by N. Danchin, M. Cucherat and C. Thuillez. It was found that in patients with coronary artery disease and no indication of heart attack, angiotensin-converting enzyme inhibitors lessen cardiovascular mortality, myocardial infarction and stroke.
