The article reports that actor Glenn Ford died on August 30, 2006 in Beverly Hills, California. Ford won a Golden Globe award for his role in the film "Pocketful of Miracles." In 1958, Ford was rated as the number one actor in the U.S. Ford featured opposite actress Rita Hayworth in the 1946 film "Gilda."
