ABSTRACT
The article discusses the possible effects of soft drinks on human beings. Several news are reporting on the presence of benzene in soft drinks. Benzene is a know carcinogen that can sometimes form in sodas containing ascorbic acid and the preservatives sodium benzoate or potassium benzoate. The U.S. Food and Drug Administration researchers have tested a greater number of sodas and declared that they didn't find any benzene. In addition to it, soft drinks can't result to cancer but weight gain.
