ABSTRACT
The article presents a commentary on the research led by Judith Hall of the University of British Columbia which examined issues related to interdisciplinary health research (IDHR) in Canada. There are several factors pointing to the need for IDHR in Canada, including the increased complexity of health-related issues and the societal elements that frame them.
