The article reports on the hybrid security video Internet Protocol system, a solution to the security problem of the University of Costa Rica provided by ACTi Corp. The university has four analog speed domes on one of its buildings far from the monitoring center. The extension of coaxial cables between the two locations would cost a large sum of money which means a great burden on the part of the school. ACTi has solved this problem with the hybrid security video.
