Inhibitions for pure styrene

The article highlights an agreement signed by Chemtura and Hakuto to work jointly in the area of polymerisation inhibitors for styrene monomer refining processes. The inhibitors, Hakutol PC Series, which were developed by Hakuto, have demonstrated superior performance with dinitro-type polymerisation inhibitors such as dinitrobutyl phenol. Chemtura, which has a global presence as well as significant expertise in DNBP, and Hakuto will jointly develop markets for the inhibitors.
