All-round profit highs at Vopak

The article provides information on a 17% increase in income for chemicals company Vopak in the first six months of 2006. The company said all divisions contributed to the increase, with higher terminal capacity utilisation, terminal expansions and additions and increased rates all contributing to the positive development. The increasing demand for storage for oil products and chemicals was also cited, which is partly due to greater use of these products in emerging and growing economies.
