This article states that Dynea is considering investing in an adhesives and surfacing resins production plant in the Ukraine, according to Olli Konttinen, the company's general director in the country. Dynea, which has just opened a sales office in the capital Kiev, currently sells less than 10,000 tonnes/year of adhesives resins and surfacing solution products in Ukraine, said Konttinen. He estimated the overall Ukraine market demand at about 200,000 tonnes/year and said it was forecast to grow at the annual rate of 15% over the next five years. Dynea targets the speciality applications market in Ukraine, but plans in future to sell resins and adhesives into the general panel board sector.
