This article reports on the plans of Bayer regarding the expansion of its polycarbonate, polyurethane and coatings production in the Caojing Chemical Park, Shanghai, China. The Greater China market is a core market for Bayer, with sales climbing by 24% in 2005 to €1.26bn, said Werner Wenning, Bayer's CEO.
