BASF to extend rail network to China

According to Volker Knabe, managing director of BASF Schwarzheide, the extension eastward will boost business in the central-eastern German chemicals triangle and will also facilitate the transport of goods between Ludwigshafen and the group's petrochemicals complex at Nanjing, China.
