Dow Epoxy is postponing the four-week shutdown of its liquid epoxy resins plant in Stade, Germany, until June 2007. Altana Chemie-owned Rhenania Coatings in Grevenbroich, Germany, and Rhenacoat in Sedan Cedex, France, are set to increase the price of their solvent-based coatings by 5 to 7% by October 1, 2006.
