ABSTRACT
The article reports on the planned expansion project by DuPont Chemical Solutions. DuPont will invest more than $100 million in a three-part multi-product, multi-region expansion plan for its Nomex high-performance fibre that is scheduled to begin rolling out in phases later in 2006. As part of the multi-faceted expansion, DuPont announced plans to build an isophthaloyl chloride facility in Asturias, Spain, but refused to reveal the capacity or investment cost.
