ABSTRACT
The article reports on the rise of the natural gas production in Mexico. Rising Mexican natural gas production has had little effect on the domestic petrochemical industry but will help the sector in the longer term, says Miguel Benedetto of national chemical industry association ANIQ. State-owned energy group Pemex said dry natural gas production reached 3.62bn ft³/ day in July, 6.1% higher than June, and its highest level in more than 30 months.
