ABSTRACT
The article reports on the experimental engineering tests of digital stereophonic sound with television by British Broadcasting Corp. in Great Britain. The stereo sound signal was transmitted by quadrature, a phase-shift keying modulation of a radio-frequency carrier above the vision. Furthermore, new audio distribution equipment were created to channel the signal to the transmitters.
