ABSTRACT
The article offers tips on sales promotion and marketing based on the findings of consumer researcher ID Magasin founded by Siemon Scamell-Katz. Scamell-Katz says retailers and in-store marketers will sell more stuff when they learn what consumers notice when they are blitzed with product come-ons. Many shoppers ignore products placed at eye level. The optimum location is between their waist and their chest.
