The article presents a reprint of the article "Calculator Helps Potential ETF Investors," by Alan Lavine, which appeared in an issue of "Money Management Executive." Tim Meyer, exchange-traded fund business manager at Rydex Investments, says that the firm developed the Rydex Trading Expense Calculator because financial advisers want a way to compare the nine exchange-traded funds of the company with its stable of 50 open-end mutual funds. Online calculators should evolved as a popular and useful tool according to Tom Taggart, managing director of Barclays Global Investors.
